NCM Cost Governance now offers granular rate card configuration for resources in Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure. This will allow users to configure different rates for specific VMs in a cluster (Identified by Prism Categories). Users will also be able to configure additional rates based on SLA, OS, Backup software etc. for specific VMs by mapping more than one rate card for a Category.

Currently the entire asset inventory and clusters are onboarded and considered as an Account in Cost Governance onboarding. With this improvement a Prism Central will be considered as a Parent Account/Billing Account and users can onboard multiple PCs in the same Cost Governance workspace. Users can view their Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure spend grouped by Prism Centrals.

NCM Cost Governance (formerly Beam) now offers a simplified Nutanix cost configuration experience with improved configurability of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) metering model

"Beam Cost Governance" which has been packaged as part of NCM (Nutanix Cloud Manager) portfolio has been renamed as "Cost Governance"
